1. Minimum Age
You must be at least 16 years old to use Polaris. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this requirement.
2. Organization & Admins
If you create an organization account, you may invite other individuals to join. All members can act as administrators unless otherwise specified. You are responsible for the activities of anyone invited to your organization.
Polaris crawls publicly available online sources to gather insights about companies you choose to track. We compile these insights (which may include references to social media postings, website changes, or other publicly available data) and periodically send them to you via email or a similar delivery method. Because our AI-based processes and external data sources may be inaccurate or incomplete, we do not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of these insights.
1. Prohibited Conduct
- You may not scrape, reverse-engineer, or otherwise misuse our platform.
- You may not run automated queries or bots against our Services.
- You may not use Polaris to violate any applicable law or the rights of any third party.
2. No User-Generated Content
Polaris does not currently allow you to upload or store user-generated content (e.g., files or custom notes). Any references to user data are limited to sign-up information, payment data, and usage logs.
1. Trial Period
We offer a 14-day free trial to new users. The trial does not automatically convert into a paid subscription; you must proactively add payment information to continue after the trial.
2. Subscription Plans
You may choose between monthly or annual billing, managed via Stripe. You are charged per company you choose to track, and you can add or remove companies at any time. The current rates are displayed on our website or within the application (subject to change).
3. Payments & Refunds
All payments are final and non-refundable. Once your payment method is charged, no refunds or prorations will be issued (including for mid-cycle cancellations).
4. Late Payment
If your payment is late or declined, we may immediately suspend or terminate your access to the Services, including halting email updates.

We do not automatically delete your user data or tracking configurations upon termination. If you wish to delete your data, please contact us at help@trypolaris.io.
1. Disclaimer of Warranties
Polaris and all associated Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
2. Limitations of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Polaris’s total liability arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Services shall not exceed the total fees you have paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the liability. In no event shall Polaris be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. This limitation does not apply in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct by Polaris.
3. Third-Party Services
We rely on third-party services like Stripe, AWS, GCP, Twilio Segment, and others. We are not liable for any downtime, disruptions, or losses caused by these third parties.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Polaris and its officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to your violation of these Terms, your misuse of the Services, or your violation of any rights of a third party.
1. Governing Law

2. Arbitration
Any dispute arising under or relating to these Terms shall be finally resolved by binding arbitration administered by a reputable arbitration provider in accordance with its rules. The arbitration shall be conducted in a mutually convenient location (or virtually), in English, and the decision shall be binding upon both parties. Judgment on the arbitration award may be entered in any court having jurisdiction thereof.
We may modify these Terms at any time by posting updated Terms on our website or within the Services. Your continued use of the Services after any such changes indicates your acceptance of the modified Terms.
